Located adjacent to the MBUSI manufacturing facility, the off-road test track simulates various road surfaces, bumps, turns, and hill grades, as well as extreme loss-of-traction conditions… and more.

M-Class Off-Road Capabilities Course
The off-road course highlights maneuverability and handling of the M-Class over rough terrain. The course is used by experienced Design Engineers to test and confirm capabilities designed into the M-Class from the ground up.

M-Class Off-Road Capabilities
Whether climbing steep grades, driving through deep pot holes, or fording streams, the M-Class is built to conquer difficult off-road driving situations. This course, located adjacent to the Mercedes-Benz U.S. International factory in Tuscaloosa County, AL, USA features rough terrain and also is home to the M-Class on-road test track .

The off-road test track features potholes, railroad ties, waterholes, steep hill climbs, and many other obstacles that demonstrate the outstanding off-road capabilties of the M-Class.
